Our Ranch

What makes a great environment for raising alpacas? Start with lots of fresh air, segregated pastures, certified tested hay, pristine water, and plenty of room to run and play. Add individualized TLC and training and you've got Peterson Creek Ranch. We're proud of the health of our animals and the quality of our herd. The best bloodlines from the East, West and Midwest are merged at our ranch to create champions in the ring and in the pasture. Our breeding stock are strong, healthy animals, great producers of milk, as well as producers of cria with the fleece and conformation to win in the show ring. Our individualized care and training produces alpacas of gentle temperament.

The likes of Hemingway, Bueno, Elite, Caligula, Dakotia and many other fine herd sires have left their stamp on our herd. Peterson Creek breeds for excellent fleece character and architecture without compromising on density, full coverage, and conformation. Our herd sires are continuing this tradition of quality with their own generations of championship cria.
